As dubious as that may sound, Maya Soetoro-Ng had a distinguished crowd of political people cracking up this morning with her stories about big brother Barack Obama.

If you caught Sunrise this morning you know what I’m talking about. Especially the one about her bro on “the john” today. (The king’s throne? The seat of power?… Ok, I’ll stop)

And it wasn't all laughs. There were some great moments of insight and emotion, as Soetoro-Ng talked about being thrust into the national spotlight. Remember, not too long ago she was just a mom and teacher who did most of her talking to her class at La Pietra school. Now she’s a national figure. And not just another talking head. She's smooth, confident, and becoming more polished as the campaign goes on.

There's an obvious DNA connection between the siblings. A gene responsible for style. Makes you wonder what their parents and grandparents were like. And imagine what their kids will be like someday...
