Over the weekend, officers picked up 18-year-old Nicholas Nichols and another teenager. On August 11, five armed intruders barged into a home and shot 19-year-old Tim Lapitan, leaving him in critical condition. The suspects stole a lap top and a safe. Petitions will be filed in family court to charge the three juvenile males. "Here in Hawaii I think it's not real common," said Major Frank Fujii, Honolulu Police Dept., "which is why the case has received such a high profile." Khamsouk's bail is set at 250-thousand dollars. He's scheduled to appear in court Friday.              |
