In Waipahu last night, a shooting sent a father to the hospital. Police tell us the 37-year old victim arrived home at about 9:30. He had just pulled into his driveway on Hapapa street when he was confronted by a man wearing a mask.

"Actually, he was out of the car, just about going into the home, and he was shot in the hand and in the thigh, right hand and left thigh," said Maj. Dave Kajihiro, Honolulu Police Department.

The victim was hospitalized in stable condition. The suspect, believe to be in his 20's, drove away in a gray car. Police believe someone else may have been driving. He didn't get any money, but is wanted for investigation of first degree robbery.
