| Rescue Teams Search For 77-Year-Old Hiker |

Police say Jon Parsons is an avid hiker, but may have gotten lost in the mountains above Kaonohi St. He was last seen leaving his friend's house around 10 this morning and is still missing. A police helicopter searched from the air, while others searched the hiking trails on foot. A couple of pig hunters in the area say they think they heard Parsons. "About daybreak, we were walking on the ridgeline and we saw some footprints, some glow sticks. About 2nd power line up, we heard someone calling in the river, couple yells and that's about it," said pig hunter Joshua Jardine. The pig hunters took rescuers to the spot where they heard the yelling, but found nothing. Police say parsons intended to go hiking on the trail on Onikiniki Pl. in upper Pearl City.
